Supervised field instruction and practice in the social work field setting internship practicum. This course requires 375 hours in the practicum setting (SW 702) and participation in this weekly Seminar Class in field instruction. Field instruction gives students the opportunity to integrate classroom theory and social work practice. This course provides instruction in the social work practice competencies along a variety of social work methods with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities.
